Terms of Service

Last updated: 20/07/2026

About These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Devilcat Studios website and the tattoo, consultation and shop services we provide. By enquiring, booking, completing a consent form or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Age and Eligibility

You must be 18 or over to be tattooed by us. It is illegal to tattoo anyone under 18, even with parental consent. We require valid photographic ID before your appointment and reserve the right to refuse or stop any service if we cannot confirm your age and identity.

Health, Consent and Suitability

Before being tattooed you must complete our consent form honestly and in full, including any relevant medical or health information. Certain conditions, medications, pregnancy, or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs may mean we cannot safely tattoo you. Our artists may decline or postpone work at their professional discretion, including on health, safety or design-suitability grounds.

Bookings and Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. The deposit is deducted from the final cost of your tattoo.
  • Your deposit is forfeited if you cancel without adequate notice, fail to attend, or arrive unfit to be tattooed.
  • Prices and quotes are estimates and may change based on the final design, size, placement and time required.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to change your appointment, please give us at least 48 hours' notice. Deposits may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment once, at our discretion, where reasonable notice is given. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may require a fresh deposit.

Aftercare

The finished result depends heavily on how you look after your tattoo while it heals. We provide aftercare guidance and are not responsible for issues caused by failure to follow it, or by picking, sun exposure, swimming or other avoidable factors.

Shop Orders and Payments

Shop purchases are subject to availability and are processed securely via Stripe. Where you have a right to cancel or return an order under UK consumer law, we will honour it; however, personalised or made-to-order items may be exempt from cancellation once production has started.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for outcomes arising from inaccurate information you provide, failure to follow aftercare, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Changes and Governing Law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published here. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
